The trial pack

Well its looking good - I have managed a trial pack this evening and with everything including the kitchen sink - my unmistakeable bag weighs in at just over 23 kg.  Result - Malaysia Airlines allow me 30kg, unfortunately my next leg of the journey in Asia Airlines only allows 20kg - but we'll just have to cross that bridge when we get to it !   Tomorrow I pick up my tickets and boarding pass - so I'll know whether I'm on the wing or inside for the trip !!!  Then on Thursday its up, up and away from Bristol International Airport on the 6.15am City Hopper to Amsterdam.   None of this business of going to Heathrow - what a relief.  I'm just a tad concerned about the knowing little grin on Mel's face when he's asked how he's going to cope without me for a month !!!!!
